Scuba diving is more than just exploring the underwater world – it’s about protecting it for future generations.The PADI AWARE Specialist Course is a non-diving program that teaches you how to be an ocean ambassador, understand marine conservation issues, and take action to protect our blue planet.

Through engaging discussions and practical tips, you’ll learn how you can make a difference both above and below the surface, from sustainable dive practices to ocean advocacy in your own community.

• Minimum age: None (recommended 10 years and above)
• No prior scuba certification required
• Open to both divers and non-divers

In this course, you will:

• Understand current ocean issues, including marine debris, climate change, and habitat loss
• Learn sustainable diving and snorkeling practices
• Identify ways to reduce your environmental footprint
• Participate in conservation actions and community projects
• Become an advocate for marine protection in your local area

• Project AWARE Specialist manual or eLearning access
• Resources for ongoing marine conservation involvement
• Certification as a PADI AWARE Specialist upon completion
